Creatives and designers - more of them.

Is it a trend? Let's hope yes.
It seems that Orike Muth's wonderful design pieces are now marketed by a Hamburg based agency; whatever mag I browse, the retail info quote neither her website nor her Hannover store anymore. So maybe that is a measure for the mass [and that agency better release their updated site soon] - I think more bloggers should be plugging her and her friend's super creative businesses.
Orike Muth - the bestest print screen designer I have seen around my hometown. You will fall in love with her colors and designs.
Hut up - she is a hat designer, makes wonderful pieces. The shop windows always look a bit retro; very stylish and romantic.
Aurix Schmuck - this woman is talented. I love her chunky ring especially. Friends of mine had their wedding bands designed there.
You should see the actual site - the neighbourhood where the shops are located, the overall ambience. Very creative, very artistic, very inviting.

And since I never said there wasn't good stuff from independent designers available here in Germany, but rather that there isn't enough of them, let me add to this list the website of herzallerliebst.

And now excuse me. The sewing machine awaits...

Just saying.

This country needs a local version of Posh Baby. The concept is great, the initiative is awesome, and the products are really what (I guess!) young parents are looking for.

I am tired of frumpy home-sewn things I see at local "Kunsthandwerkermärkte" (artisanal fairs; sometimes more fair than artisanal, sometimes vice versa, but never really what I'd call "my wavelength"). I am likewise tired of the ever-same mass-produce things at stores. And one cannot always sew and make good things oneself; I for my part would love to buy yet more from independent designers and stock my home with their products.

Where are the creatives? Anyone?

This page looks cranky, because it seems you have disabled java script. Commenting and proper page display is only possible with java script enabled. Sorry for the inconvenience.
