I am still glad that I left flickr, and I don't even regret having left them two months or so before my paid account expired. After this home-baked copyright/own policies violations incident here
, and after seeing a merging documentation here (and these weren't the only ones), I had no regrets whatsoever.
I just heard about the problems their internationalization is now causing German members - e.g. here (flickr group) and here (heise newsticker). Halp.
